A typical SCHUNCK* Education day: Seeing an abstract painting in the subterranean exhibition hall of SCHUNCK*, five pupils and a visual artist heatedly discuss and brainstorm about the form, technique and meaning of a work; they then set to work themselves with brushes and paint. At the same time, at a community centre elsewhere in town, a group of youths rap about their neighbourhood with a teacher to a mix they have just created.

SCHUNCK* Education takes you on board, engages you in a dialogue, elicits wonder and leaves you with indelible impressions. The aim of SCHUNCK* Education is to be the service centre for cultural education in the cultural environment. Cultural education is a collective term, encompassing art education, heritage education and media education.

SCHUNCK* provides tailored education to various local target groups. Support with developing and carrying out projects is also available to schools. SCHUNCK* Education operates in schools, in the community, and of course at SCHUNCK* itself.

SCHUNCK* Education is able to provide an extensive range of services related to architecture, modern art, knowledge of art, music, dance, visual arts, literature and other forms of culture, in collaboration with and for various people and partners.

Anyone with specific needs will find them catered for at SCHUNCK*, but the aim of all the educational activities at SCHUNCK* is the same, to elicit wonder. Wonder leads to interest, to curiosity, to the emergence of talent, and to passion. And that passion should draw the best out of everyone: stimulate your senses and expand your horizons!
